New Extruder Line for Cable Manufacturer

Our Customer had ordered a new cable extruding plant for the manufacturing of new cable. PDR Electrical was tasked with the design and installation of all electrical aspects of the project.

We had to modify the customers existing 2500A modular switchgear to accommodate a new 1250A outgoing way ready for new cabling.

We also had new 1250A modular switchgear designed and manufactured to meet the customers requirements for the new plant.

We installed the new switchgear next to the new plant alongside the new control panel.

Over 100m of a new ladder rack containment system was designed and installed from the existing switchgear to the new 1250A switchgear and control panel location and new cabling was installed rated to 1250A.

PDR designed the containment system from the new control panel to all equipment in the field, and along with the customer, came up with a cable schedule to supply and install all field wiring from control panel to equipment in the field.
